Brand new, direct from Great Eastern Cutlery.
Blades: Located at one end of the handle are two satin finished carbon steel blades, a large clip point and mid-sized pen blade. Both blades open smooth via a long pull or classic nail nick and have full flat grinds for optimal performance. The primary blade has the Pony Jack logo etched on the front.
Handle: Fit perfectly between polished steel bolsters are Cocobolo wood covers, delivering a full-size handle with a subtle taper toward each end. Construction is all steel liner and pin with strong stainless steel back springs for secure slip joint operation. Each GEC knife ships rolled in wax paper in a sturdy tube with company information on the front.
1095 Carbon Steel: Popular, simple carbon steel used extensively by production and custom knife makers. Low abrasive wear (edge retention) due to low carbide content and easy to sharpen to a fine edge. Not corrosion resistant and will rust without proper care.
