The #59 Shaffer Farm Whittler is a classic split back spring pattern with a stout spear point blade paired with pen and coping blades to complete the trio. It retains the classic look and feel with premium fit and finish that Great Eastern Cutlery represents. This Tidioute Cutlery #59 comes with satin carbon steel blades and Hummingbird acrylic covers.

Blades: The whittler blade trio is delivered in satin finished 1095 carbon steel. A flat ground spear point blade handles the heavy lifting while a pen and coping blade deal with any delicate work. The smaller blades have a solid half stop while the spear blade benefits from the pressure of both springs for added safety.

Handle: Striking Hummingbird Acrylic scales offer a unique and visually appealing look while being durable and weather resistant. Covers are flush fit between two polished nickel silver bolsters matching the Crest shield. The classic whittle pattern has brass liner and pins construction with split back springs.

Each knife ships rolled in wax paper inside a shipping tube with company information on the front. 

1095 Carbon Steel: A popular, simple carbon steel, 1095 is used extensively by both production and custom knife makers. Low abrasive wear resistance and easy to sharpen. Not corrosion resistant and will rust without proper care.
