The Grindhouse Knives TMAx Flipper designed and built by Sam Jones is a bit thicker and beefier than the TMA delivering a compact yet seriously robust folder. A long flipper tab, hefty blade and ball bearing pivot deliver ultra-fast deployment with tank like lock up afforded by the titanium frame lock. This version comes with a striking Chad Nichols Stainless Damascus blade, and Double Titanium frame with a fine satin finish.

Blade: Made of stunning Chad Nichols Stainless Damascus, the toucan-like blade of the TMAx has just over 2.5 inches of straight cutting edge with a shallow hollow grind for good slicing while retaining good durability. A generous forward swedge tapers the blade to a strong point for piercing and fine work. The forward choil allows for good control with aggressive jimping on the spine and index flipper guard for added security. Deployment on the ball bearing pivot is fast, smooth and decisive.
Handle: At nearly 5 mm thick, the satin finished titanium frame delivers rock solid lock up and a robust foundation for this compact folder. Dual spacers offer an easy to maintain, open back construction, connecting the frame to the matching titanium handle slab opposite. The Double Titanium construction offers a nice heft in the hand and the ultimate in weather resistant durability. Construction is completed with satin finished titanium hardware and a generous lanyard hole. Includes a fleece storage pouch and signed information card.
