Grindhouse Knives TMAx #9 Satin XHP Orange Peel Titanium Frame Lock Flipper

Brand new TMAx Flipper by Grindhouse Knives featuring a Double Titanium frame lock construction direct from maker Sam Jones. The TMAx is a bit thicker and beefier than the TMA for a compact yet seriously robust folder.

Blade: A little over 2.50 inches of hollow ground cutting edge on this modified Wharncliffe blade deliver serious slicing power. It has a nice hand-rubbed satin finish and generous forward swedge to enhance piercing. The thumb scoop cutout on the spine along with the choil is comfortable and allows the user to choke up a bit for finer cutting tasks. The sub-¹⁄₄ inch thick XHP steel rides on a ball bearing pivot system for smooth, decisive operation.

Handle: .186 inch thick Orange Peel textured titanium slabs are used for the handle, on forming the integral frame lock.The oversize pivot, titanium screws and barrel spacers are given the same subtle texturing. The open back construction reduces weight and makes for easy cleaning and maintenance. The handle is contoured and fills the palm nicely for its size.

The TMAx comes with a tip-up UNOB clip, specs card and drawstring pouch.
