With patented steel thumb slide base and floating blade construction the Recon-035 is smooth and reliable in its operation while having minimal play and a rock solid feel. This version comes with a stonewashed, double edge Elmax blade and blue anodized handle.

Blade: The dagger-like blade sports a dual hollow grind with clean slicing, razor sharp plain cutting edges. A center fuller adds visual appeal while the stonewashed finish is rugged and hides wear from use. An innovative and patented floating mechanism prevents undue wear on the blade delivering smooth automatic operation. Push the slide, which rides smoothly on bearings and a non-magnetic stainless steel plate, and the blade deploys and retracts with decisive action.

Handle: Blue hard anodized, aircraft grade aluminum houses the blade and mechanism with subtle finger contours and strategic milling on the sides for a solid, secure grip. Torx hardware and an integral lanyard hole round out the construction.
