The U.S. PROTECTIVE SERVICE/Guardian Tactical collaboration Recon Elite is a modern and innovative, double action, out the front automatic that is built for special operations. With patented steel thumb slide base and floating blade construction, the beefy Recon Elite is smooth and reliable in its operation while having minimal play and a rock solid feel. This version comes with a two-tone, plain edge Elmax stainless steel Tanto blade and OD Green handle with all black hardware.

Blade: The piercing Tanto blade sports a compound grind with razor sharp plain edge. The saber ground primary edge offers balanced durability and slicing, while the hollow ground forward edge is ideal for piercing and fine work. Black fullers on the flats have cutouts that add visual appeal. Satin flats contrast with the durable, non-reflective and corrosion resistant black KG Gun Kote for a classy two-tone look. An innovative patented floating mechanism prevents undue wear on the blade while delivering smooth, drag-free operation. Push the top slide, which rides smoothly on bearings and a non-magnetic stainless steel plate, and the blade deploys and retracts with a decisive action. The front of the blade is marked "Fate loves the fearless" along with the blade steel.

Handle: OD Green hard anodized, aircraft grade aluminum houses the blade and mechanism with subtle finger contours and strategic milling on the sides for a solid, secure grip. The front features a weathered American Flag, while the back sports the US Protective Service badge. The construction is completed with black Torx hardware, lanyard hole and steel glass breaker pommel insert. Includes patch, sticker and microfiber bag.
