With patented steel thumb slide base and floating blade construction the beefy Recon Elite is smooth and reliable in its operation while having minimal play and a rock solid feel. This U.S. PROTECTIVE SERVICE version comes with a Two Tone black/satin finished, partial Serrated Tanto Elmax blade and Black handle with all black hardware.

Blade: The piercing Tanto blade sports a dual hollow grind with razor sharp, partially serrated cutting edge. A black center fuller features cutouts that add visual appeal while the durable, non-reflective and corrosion resistant black KG Gun Kote is two-toned accented with satin flats. The blade operates on an innovative and patented floating mechanism that prevents undue wear on the blade as well as delivering a smooth, drag-free operation. Push the top slide, which rides smoothly on bearings and a non-magnetic stainless steel plate, and the blade deploys and retracts with a decisive action. "FATE LOVES THE FEARLESS" proudly lasered on the front. 

Handle: Black hard anodized, aircraft grade aluminum houses the blade and mechanism with subtle finger contours and strategic milling on the sides for a solid, secure grip. The front features a weathered American Flag while the back sports the US Protective Service badge. The construction is completed with black Torx hardware and a hole is provided for lanyard attachment at the pommel end.
