Blade: Equipped with a razor sharp modified Scandinavian grind the large drop point blade is strong enough for serious use, delivering excellent performance and versatility. Solid Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel has less flex than a laminated steel and can be modified to a sharpened spine for ferro rod striking making this a solid woods knife. A small micro bevel edge gives the Scandinavian grind added durability and ease of sharpening while the polished satin finish lends added visual appeal.
Handle: Through tang construction is lightweight and reliable with a handsome solid curly birchwood handle. Hand shaped and finished, the large hand filling handle is comfortable in almost any grip and ideal for medium to large hands. A subtle guard and pommel hook pair with the generous palm swell for enhanced safety. As with all Helle knives, the exceptional quality makes this an heirloom piece you can pass down for generations.
