Helle Knives Mandra Les Stroud Laminated Stainless Curly Birch Full Tang Fixed Blade Knife

The smallest collaboration between Les Stroud (a.k.a. Survivorman) and Helle Knives, the Mandra is a versatile full tang neck knife that offers lightweight reliability and performance. Romanian for "proud" the Mandra has classic Helle heirloom quality with a modern build and functional design that handles almost any cutting task. The Mandra has a blade of triple laminated stainless steel (H3LSS) and curly birch handle scales over black liners.

Blade: At under 3 inches the broad drop point blade is easy to control for fine tasks while the full tang construction gives solid dependability for heavy work. The razor sharp modified Scandinavian grind slices with ease with a small micro bevel for a more durable edge and ease of sharpening. The striking high polish satin finish enhances corrosion resistance and bears the standard markings on the front and Survivorman logo on the back.

Handle: Hollow brass tubes attach the handsome curly birchwood scales to the full tang over black fiber liners. Warm and secure in hand, the handle offers a solid three-finger grip for medium to large hands. A generous pommel swell makes for easy draw from the sheath and added security in the grip. Helle includes a leather lanyard for neck carry or handle extension.

Carries via a snap closure, hand stitched leather belt sheath.

H3LSS: Helle Triple Laminated Stainless Steel, similar to Japanese San Mai, has tough 18/8 stainless cladding on the outside protecting the high carbon stainless core. Helle uses a proprietary steel similar to Sandvik 12c27. This delivers razor sharpness, high hardness, exceptional toughness and good corrosion resistance.
