The Helle "SE" Limited Edition 2022 knife was created by the current Managing Director Svein-Erik, the 2022 Limited Edition Helle "SE" is an heirloom collector's piece and classic, functional Nordic cutting tool. Each SE comes with a high polished H3LS laminated steel blade and stacked handle consisting of stunningly figured curly birch with antler and dyed green leather spacers. Such a handsome knife needs a sheath to match. This one is tang leather with white stitching tooled with an original 1930s style Helle print. Limited to 300 pieces in the US.

Blade: The mid-sized triple laminated steel blade comes with a razor sharp modified Scandinavian grind, strong enough for heavy work with excellent performance and versatility. The small micro bevel makes the edge tougher and easier to sharpen for maintenance. A high polish finish enhances corrosion resistance while the subtle false edge swedge adds visual appeal and utility.

Handle: Through tang construction is practical and lightweight, hand shaped to feel like a functional tool, comfortable in almost any grip you can use. Stunning curly birchwood pairs with reindeer antler and green dyed leather for a timeless style and durability making this heirloom piece a tool to pass along for generations to come.

H3LSS: Helle Triple Laminated Stainless Steel, similar to Japanese San Mai, has tough 18/8 stainless cladding on the outside protecting the high carbon stainless core. Helle uses a proprietary steel similar to Sandvik 12c27. This delivers razor sharpness, high hardness, exceptional toughness and good corrosion resistance.
