The Heretic Knives Manticore-X is the largest of the Manticore Series of double action, out the front, automatic knives. The Manticore-X has a countered, 3D machined, aircraft grade aluminum handle with strategically placed scallops around the edge that delivers a comfortable and secure grip in the hand. This version comes with a tumbled black DLC Elmax Tanto blade, black aluminum frame and "Awesome 80s" camo carbon fiber back with black DLC hardware and clip.

Blade: The long, saber ground, Tanto profile blade combines powerful cutting performance with an elegant slender look. The blade has a stonewashed, durable Diamond-Like Carbon or DLC coating that is discreetly non-reflective and corrosion resistant. Operation via the double action automatic mechanism is fast, smooth, and reliable. Press the thumb slide up to open and then back down to close.

Handle: Milled and fluted hard anodized aluminum pairs with the carbon fiber back offering plenty of real estate for large or gloved hands. Chamfered edges complement strategically placed scallops for excellent comfort and traction. Company, model and serial number markings are on the spine for a clean look while the "Awesome 80s" camo carbon fiber delivers striking visual appeal. Black DLC coated titanium Torx hardware mounted from the back round out the construction along with a matching clip, integral lanyard hole and hardened glass breaker inset.
