This 3" Eklipse Flipper from Rick Hinderer Knives sports a stonewashed, Harpoon Spanto blade made from CPM-S35VN and OD Green G10 handle scales over beefy, tumbled titanium liners. A more compact Eklipse, this knife is perfect for every day carry while delivering the tank-like durability you know and love in a Hinderer.

Blade: A 3 inch Harpoon Spanto blade is perfect for tactical, piercing tasks while still being utilitarian enough for utility work. The stonewashed finish is rugged and hides wear from use while maintaining an attractive look. The blade deploys via two thumb studs or the integral flipper tab on the new Tri-Way pivot system* which can be customized for user preference. The upper harpoon swedge really sets this blade apart and a section of jimping on the spine makes the perfect thumb rest, enhancing traction in the hand.

Handle: The handle sports the same fantastic ergonomics of the full-size Eklipse in a more compact platform. The finger grooves, shape and texturing fit the hand like a glove. It's a harmoniously ergonomic experience designed with comfort in mind. This version is dressed in OD Green G10 secured to titanium liners with an open back construction. Titanium Torx hardware and barrel spacers round out the construction.

CPM S35VN: was designed to offer improved toughness over CPM S30V. It is also easier to machine and polish than CPM S30V and the adjusted chemistry makes CPM S35VN about 15-20% tougher than CPM S30V without any loss of wear resistance. CPM S35VN’s improved toughness gives it better resistance to edge chipping.

*Tri-Way Pivot: The newest innovation from Rick Hinderer, the Tri-Way pivot features milled pockets in the blade and frame allowing for the use of ball bearing pivot washers (installed) or, utilizing steel spacers to fill those pockets, you can use either of the included sets of nylon or bronze washers to customize the action and operation of your knife.
