Engineer an XM-Series folder with the Ranch Bowie fixed blade and you will end up with the Hinderer Knives Emmett Bowie. A great daily carry fixed blade built for extended heavy use, the Emmett has a classic Bowie style clip point built tough in Hinderer style. Pair the high-performance blade with comfortably contoured scales on a handle that will feel very familiar to anyone who has held an XM-18 or 24 for  a practical, performance driven EDC cutting tool. This version comes with a stonewashed CPM-20CV blade and OD Green canvas Micarta handle scales.

Blade: Made from 4 mm thick CPM-20CV the nearly full flat ground clip point blade is stout enough for heavy work while delivering solid slicing performance. A small choil allows for easy sharpening of the full cutting edge, while the heavy stonewashed finish hides wear and looks great.

Handle: The full tang supports contoured Micarta scales in the iconic 'XM' pattern offering a full, comfortable and secure grip. A scoop on the spine allow for added leverage in push cuts, while jimping behind it gives traction for added security. XM-style titanium hardware and a generous lanyard hole round out the construction.

Sheath: Carries via a premium, hand stitched, brown leather belt sheath.

CPM-20CV: CPM-20CV (analog to M390 and CTS-204P) is a premium powder metallurgy (PM) stainless steel with high level edge retention and corrosion resistance. Relatively easy to sharpen, the coarse microstructure gives this steel lower toughness.
