The Hinderer Knives XM-18 3.5" Gen 5 Spanto with OD Green 3D "30" textured G10 is a precision-crafted hard-use tactical folder. It features a Spanto blade and integral flipper for easy opening when it matters most. As the medium sized model in the Hinderer family, the XM-18 3.5 was designed to fit most hands comfortably and has a reasonable blade size to handle most any task. Ease of opening and closing one-handed combined with a reliable lock system were targets that have been achieved with the XM-18. Styled to celebrate the 30 year Anniversary of Hinderer Knives.

The Blade:  The three and a half inch blade opens fast and smooth via the integral flipper or dual thumb studs/blade stops. The tough CPM S35VN blade sports rugged Working Finish that offers low reflectivity and an attractive look that reduces the visible wear marks. Rick's own 17-4PH state-of-the-art pivot system creates silky smooth operation; the moderate detent requires a decisive action for fast deployment. Along with the standard blade markings the back of the blade sports an anniversary logo with "30" and the Hinderer horse.

The Handle:  Full titanium frame lock and liner have a rugged Working Finish. It is a field tested finish that will last and hide wear well. Satin hardware and standoffs create one solid package while 3D texturing on the OD Green G-10 scale coupled with jimping all around create a solid grip. The G10 texture is milled with a "30" motif in keeping with this Anniversary knife. There is also a bit of a choil to choke up on the blade for more detailed cutting tasks as well. This Hinderer XM-18 includes the famous Hinderer Lockbar Stabilizer and two-position Working Finish titanium clip with "30" cutout and insert for tip up or down right hand carry.

As with all Hinderer Knives, the XM-18 is completely customizable from clip and standoffs to the lockbar stabilizer and pivot.
