The Hinderer Knives XM-18 3" Gen 6 Spear Point is a precision-crafted tactical folder featuring an integral flipper for easy opening when it matters most. The smallest of the XM series the 3" is still plenty robust but more suited for every day carry. This version comes with a Working Finished 20CV blade, Grey G-10 Scale and Battle Blue titanium frame and clip.

The Gen 6 features a hardened steel lock face insert and Tri-Way Pivot system detailed below.

Blade: The three inch Spear Point blade opens fast and smooth via the integral flipper or dual thumb studs/blade stops and a full finger choil gives a high level of control for detail work. The CPM 20CV blade delivers optimum edge retention and corrosion resistance while sporting Hinderer's Working Finish and long wearing, non-reflective combination of blasted and tumbled finishes. The new, state-of-the-art Tri-Way pivot system delivers smooth deployment with user customizable operation. The detent is dialed in for decisive deployment.

Handle: Full titanium frame lock and liner have a matching Battle Blue finish that is visually appealing and hides wear over time. A 3D textured Grey G-10 scale coupled with jimping all around creates a secure grip. The XM-18 includes the innovative Hinderer Lockbar Stabilizer and battle blue, two-position titanium clip and insert for tip up or down, right hand carry.

The XM-18 is completely customizable with accessory clips, scales and hardware.

CPM 20CV: CPM 20CV is a highly wear resistant, powder metallurgy stainless tool steel, an analog to Bohler's M390, and offers some of the best corrosion resistance and wear resistance in combination with a relative ease of sharpening. These properties along with a working hardness in the low 60s HRC make 20CV a prime choice among custom and production makers.

Tri-Way Pivot: The newest innovation from Rick Hinderer, the Tri-Way pivot features milled pockets in the blade and frame allowing for the use of ball bearing pivot washers (installed) or, utilizing steel spacers to fill those pockets, you can use either of the included sets of nylon or bronze washers to customize the action and operation of your knife.
