Japanese custom knife maker Hiroaki Ohta takes your standard snap blade utility knife and elevates it with a custom hard wood handle giving you the best of both worlds. Built on a stainless steel Tajima slide platform this version comes with a Japanese Mizunara Oak wood handle.

Blade: This non-locking utility knife has a slide operated blade that comes razor sharp. Once the blade is dull simply snap off the dull section and you are ready to go. Comes with two replacement blades.
Handle: The stainless steel slide mechanism is housed within a beautifully polished and contoured piece of Japanese Mizunara Oak that is durable, comfortable in the hand and visually appealing. The fine wood handle brings pleasure to the most mundane tasks.
Japanese Mizunara Oak: Japanese Mizunara Oak features a unique tiger stripe cross grain and is very light weight while retaining good durability and resistance to the elements. It is traditionally used for furniture and flooring.
