Isham Bladeworks Blackstar V2 Titanium Marbled Carbon Fiber Inlay 20CV Detent Slipjoint Flipper

From the Isham Bladeworks label the modern-traditional Blackstar is back in its second iteration. The Blackstar V2 has the same classic Bowie style blade of CPM-20CV with dual fullers and detent slip joint operation. The V2 offers an upgraded handle exhibiting the same iconic Isham style but made from full titanium with marbled carbon fiber inlays. The same detent mechanism allows for the slip joint operation to work with the integral flipper tab for snappy deployment.

Blade: A classic Bowie-style clip point blade is made from modern, high-performance CPM-20CV with full flat grind that delivers optimal performance for an every day carry knife. Dual fullers on the blade add to the old-school style and offer good purchase for two-hand operation of the blade. The blade is held in place by an internal detent mechanism that gives a traditional feel while still allowing for deployment via the inline, integral flipper tab which maintains a sleek look in the closed position.

Handle: 3D machined and contoured Titanium handle slabs deliver a comfortable, ergonomic grip while have a modern and iconic aesthetic. Dual marbled carbon fiber inlays paired with the titanium construction give the version two a more premium look. Dual Torx screws keep the construction clean and minimal.

A 3D machined titanium pocket clip is attached for right hand, tip-up carry.

About CPM-20CV: A highly wear resistant, powder metallurgy stainless tool steel, the steel contains a large volume of extremely hard vanadium carbides which provide excellent wear resistance. CPM-20CV contains the highest amount of chromium of any high-vanadium stainless steel currently available. The chromium-rich matrix provides outstanding corrosion resistance.
