Kabar D2 Extreme Fighting Part Serrated Leather Sheath

The Kabar 1283 Extreme Fighting knife is built from ultra tough D2 tool steel with utility and destruction behind its functional design. This partially serrated version has been upgraded with a more modern and durable handle material and quality Leather Sheath offering the same classic design with enhanced performance for the forest or the battlefield.

The Blade: Black coated, wear resistant D2 high carbon tool steel has been saber ground for toughness. It's then given a partially serrated cutting edge great for cutting looped and synthetic materials. A straight spine terminates in the famous clip point delivering enhanced piercing capabilities while retaining a high level of toughness. The black coating provides needed corrosion resistance while the D2 will hold a razor like edge.

The Handle: The tang of the blade is wrapped in a grippy Black Kraton G handle that is nearly indestructible and all but impervious to the elements. A grey powdered metal guard offers additional protection from slipping onto the blade while a metal holed pommel makes the knife very well balanced and provides an improvised hammer tool in a pinch.

The Sheath: This knife comes with a handsome Black Leather Sheath stitched and riveted with security loop snap/belt loop for secure carry.
