Blade: The modified drop point blade is ultra fast to deploy thanks to the KVT bearing pivot with customized pivot hardware. The the satin finished, hollow ground blade provides excellent cutting performance with a top swedge for enhance piercing and jimping on the spine for traction.
Handle: The handles are contoured 3D machined G10 with a carbon fiber inlay for a classy look. The jimped backspacer is added for traction along with jimping on the opposite side of the handle. The backspacer also sports a generous lanyard loop personalization. The Atmos carries via a reversible, tip-up stainless steel deep carry pocket clip.
8Cr13MoV: Similar to Japanese AUS-8, 8Cr13MoV is a low carbon, high chromium stainless steel with an excellent balance of toughness and strength. It offers good corrosion resistance and is capable of acquiring a razor sharp edge. Edge holding is significantly lower than S30V but close to 440C. Sharpening should be a breeze.
