Blade: Stonewashed stainless steel gives a rugged, wear hiding look and well-balanced performance with minimal maintenance. The cleaver blade has a high saber grind for balanced performance in slicing with a subtle belly ending at a fine, piecing point. An index choil allows for a close grip for heavy work and pairs well with both pivot and tip jimping depending on the task. SpeedSafe assisted flipper deployment provides fast, reliable, one-hand access to your blade whenever you need it.

Handle: A stainless steel liner supports the textured black G10 front scale with decorative pivot cap and pairs with the integral stainless steel frame lock and contoured partial back spacer. The simple handle design is secure in use and comfortable in multiple grips. Providing secure and solid lockup, the stainless frame lock is smooth in operation and simple to use. A generous hole is provided for lanyard attachment.

Carries via a reversible, tip-up, stainless steel deep carry clip.

8Cr13MoV: Similar to Japanese AUS-8, 8Cr13MoV is a low carbon, high chromium stainless steel with an excellent balance of toughness and strength. It offers good corrosion resistance and is capable of acquiring a razor sharp edge. Edge holding is significantly lower than S30V but close to 440B. Sharpening should be a breeze.
