Blade: The modified drop point blade rides on a KVT bearing pivot for fast flipper deployment. Tumbled BlackWash finished D2 tool steel delivers enhanced edge retention with an appealing, low-profile look that hides wear. The shallow hollow grind and prominent belly make this a powerful slicing blade.

Handle: Handsome contoured canvas Micarta scales ride on proud stainless liners for a comfortable, high traction grip that carries well. The recessed pocket clip allows for very secure carry with added comfort in the hand as the clip is mostly flush with the scale. One liner forms the locking mechanism which is smooth, solid, and reliable for secure use.

D2 Tool Steel: Used as a die cutting steel since WW II, D2 offers a good combination of hardness and wear resistance with moderate toughness and stain resistance. High chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) gives D2 better corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels.
