The Kershaw Decimus is based on the hugely popular folding dagger Maximus model from Rick Hinderer Knives.

The Blade: A hardwearing Blackwash finish hides wear on the single-edge, bayonet blade which springs to action with SpeedSafe Assisted operation. Mirroring the flipper tab is another tab which provides a functional cross guard for security in the hand. The Decimus was made for piercing but the saber grind delivers good slicing performance for EDC use.
The Handle: Symmetrical, stonewash finished stainless steel handles add to the dagger-like look of the Decimus and give a nice heft in the hand. One side forms a robust integral frame lock for secure operation of the knife when in use. Glass-filled nylon overlays are textured for added security in the hand and a more custom look. The Decimus is rounded out with an open, barrel spacer construction and Hinderer style, reversible, tip-up pocket clip for carry.
