The Blade: Three inch premium M390 modified spear point for the Dividend has piercing intimidation with a wicked sharp flat grind. It is fully stonewash finished with an integral flipper tab deployment and upper swedge accent. This one has been upgraded to a tumbled Bohler M390 primo blade steel. This steel is known throughout the industry as having some of the best edge retention in its class. Give a slight tug on the tab that extends out the back of the handle and watch it fly! It shoots out of the handle using Kershaw's SpeedSafe assisted opening technology. This system is one of the most reliable, fastest assisted mechanisms on the market.

The Handle: Ergonomic Black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle scales are torx screwed to full length stainless liners for lightweight, reliable durability. Sleek black finish creates clean lines while the flipper tab makes a forward guard to keep your digits out of harm's way. A slotted black backspacer and reversible four-position pocket clip for right/left, tip up/down carry complete the 1812BLK. 

About Bohler M390: made using their 3rd generation PM process Bohler M390 features very high wear and corrosion resistance. A fine grained alloy with working hardness up to 62HRC, M390 has excellent performance with both a coarse or polished edge. Overall, is a top performer in terms of corrosion and wear resistance with still being relatively easy to maintain in sharpening.
