The slender and minimalist design of the Kershaw Epistle makes for the perfect daily gentleman's carry. Lightweight aluminum handle offers neutral tones complimenting the slightly darker blade finish. Affordable, sleek and ready to be your favorite new office carry.
Brand new directly from Kershaw Knives.
The Blade: Versatile drop point blade shape offers a piercing tip combined with plenty of belly for everyday slicing. Dual thumb studs provide for ambidextrous manual opening while a dark bead-blast finish has been applied for aesthetic appeal.
The Handle: Clear anodized to protect the raw aluminum, the handle is a bit lighter toned than the blade adding contrast while maintaining friendly neutral tones. An inset liner lock provides for solid and easily accessible lock up. Kershaw finished off this folder with a custom textured pivot cap and single position (right, tip-up) stainless steel pocket clip.
8Cr13MoV: Similar to Japanese AUS-8, 8Cr13MoV is a low carbon, high chromium stainless steel with an excellent balance of toughness and strength. It offers good corrosion resistance and is capable of acquiring a razor sharp edge. Edge holding is significantly lower than S30V but close to 440C. Sharpening should be a breeze.
