The popular, USA Made Kershaw Knockout is a SpeedSafe Assisted flipper with the patented and innovative Sub-Framelock mechanism and upgraded with a quality Damascus Blade. The pattern of folded steel swirls will vary from blade to blade making each piece truly unique. The knife has a lightweight, OD Green aluminum handle, yet the solid lock-up found in a frame lock and decisive operation thanks to the assisted opening mechanism. The Knockout is a great, mid-size EDC that can tackle serious use with style and class.

Blade: The wide drop point profile of the Knockout is a timeless classic with a nice slicing belly and a fine cutting edge. It offers a true point for piercing and the every day utility of a drop point. Slicing, dicing, skinning and everything in between. This version comes with an upgraded Damascus steel blade. Damascus is produced with at least two types of steel that are forge welded together and then acid etched to reveal the pattern seen on the finished product. It's often desired for it's edge retention and striking looks. It is exceptionally sharp and rockets out of its handle thanks to Kershaw's SpeedSafe Assisted Opening mechanism.

Handle: OD Green anodized aluminum handle scales are smooth and well-contoured to ensure a comfortable grip with some sweeping patterns milled in for added traction and style. A robust, stainless steel Sub-Frame Lock is attached to the interior of the handle delivering rock solid lockup without excessive weight addition. It has a 1/2 length black backspacer for support and protection of the blade when closed. The back has an etched US Flag proudly displayed.

Carries via a stainless steel deep carry clip (right hand tip-up/down or left hand tip-up only).

Alabama Damascus: A high quality, carbon steel Damascus, Alabama Damascus is typically 416 layers of 4 different types of steel including:(4) layers 5160 spring steel, (3) layers 203E low carbon high impact High nickel mild steel alloy, (3) layers 52100 ball bearing steel and (3) layers 15N20 band saw blade material. 13 layers of the 4 types of steel are then forge welded and folded 5 times to achieve 416 layers. Cutting performance will be similar to the carbon steels mentioned above. Care is required to prevent corrosion.
