The Leek is a classic gentleman's everyday carry from Kershaw Knives. This US made EDC sports SpeedSafe Assisted flipper deployment for reliable, one hand operation every time. Produced in many variations this Ken Onion design continues to withstand the test of time. Utilitarian, ergonomic and lightweight, the Leek family continues to grow and please new generations of knife enthusiasts. This version comes with a black DLC coated, partially serrated blade of 14c28n and OD Green anodized aluminum handles over black coated stainless steel liners.

Blade: Right at three inches of razor sharp 14c28n cutting edge, this modified drop point is hollow ground for exceptional slicing performance. A partially serrated section makes quick work of fibrous material. Dual thumb studs or the integral flipper tab pair with the SpeedSafe assist for easy-opening. Some light jimping on the spine adds grip and the black DLC coated finish offers a discreet and non-reflective look that holds up well under hard use.

Handle: OD Green anodized aluminum handle scales are Torx screwed to DLC coated stainless steel liners, with one forming the lock. Aluminum is tough and lightweight with the OD anodization pairing well with the black blade and liners. The Leek is well-balanced and has a great feel in-hand. A Tip-Lock slider safety keeps the blade from deploying unintentionally when closed.

Carries via a two-position pocket clip for tip up or down, right-hand carry.

Sandvik 14c28n: Sandvik stainless steel specifically developed for knife blades. The addition of the nitrogen should improve corrosion resistance and hardness. Working hardness from 55-62 HRC. Very fine-grained alloy, which is good news for any type of the knife. Offers a good combination of corrosion resistance, edge stability, wear resistance and strength.
