Kershaw Link Black Handle Stonewash M390 Flipper 1776BLK

The popular USA Made 1776 Link assisted flipper from Kershaw Knives has been upgraded with a Black anodized handle and Stonewash finished premium M390 blade. The size, shape and dependability has made the Link a successful addition to the Kershaw lineup. This slicer is no exception.

Blade: It's an upswept drop point with a nice slicing belly. This one offers a true point for piercing and the every day utility of a drop point. Slicing, dicing, skinning and everything in between. It really is an every man's blade shape...and it looks cool. This one has been upgraded to a tumbled Bohler M390 primo blade steel. This steel is known throughout the industry as having some of the best edge retention in its class. It will hide the wear and tear of daily cutting plus turn some heads. It is damn sharp and absolutely rockets out of its handle thanks to Kershaw's SpeedSafe Assisted Opening mechanism. 

Handle: Black anodized aluminum handle scales are smooth and well-contoured to ensure a comfortable grip. They are secured to full length sturdy stainless steel liners with one forming the locking mechanism. It has a 3/4 length ridged black backspacer for support and aiding in your hold on the Link. The back side has an engraved US Flag proudly displayed.

The 1776BLK Link with M390 from Kershaw comes with a black pocket clip for tip up carry that is reversible for lefties. A generous lanyard hole machined into the handle spine is a nice touch.

Bohler M390: made using their 3rd generation PM process Bohler M390 features very high wear and corrosion resistance. A fine grained alloy with working hardness up to 62HRC, M390 has excellent performance with both a coarse or polished edge. Overall, is a top performer in terms of corrosion and wear resistance with still being relatively easy to maintain in sharpening.
