Blade: The blade of the XL Natrix is a hybrid drop point that delivers a +3.5 inch cutting edge that is all sweeping belly for plenty of slicing performance. This version is upgraded with D2 tool steel for enhanced edge retention and good toughness with still having moderate corrosion resistance. The blade is fully flat ground up to the visually appealing fullers and finished in a beautiful and rugged stonewashed finish that complements the copper handles. KVT bearing flipper operation provides fast and smooth deployment at a touch of the flipper tab.

Handle: Ergonomic and contoured handles are made from raw copper that have been tumbled and will develop a unique patina over time and use. The stainless steel sub-frame lock delivers smooth operation and rock solid lockup during use. Milled internally, the copper scales have a great feel in the hand while still keeping the overall weight under 9 ounces. With a 5-inch handle, the XL Natrix can accommodate the largest of hands. The Natrix is rounded out with custom pivot hardware and stainless Torx construction.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. D2 has a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) which gives it greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels making it semi-stainless. D2 offers a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance for a good all around knife steel.
