This is the same design with a discreet matte black PVD finish instead of the bright blue of the original for those who prefer a more stealth carry option. Open back, stainless steel frame lock construction, G10 inlay and a hollow ground 8Cr13MoV stainless steel blade are all retained.

Blade: The upswept, Persian-style blade with a high hollow grind and nearly full length swedge for optimal slicing and piercing performance to handle your daily tasks with ease. A black PVD coating is durable, corrosion resistant and discreetly non-reflective in carry and use. Deploy the blade via the dual thumb studs or index flipper, SpeedSafe assist will deliver fast and reliable one-hand access to your blade. Spine jimping offers added traction pairing with the integral flipper tab guard for safety in use.

Handle: A robust stainless steel frame lock construction gives a solid heft in the hand, reliably smooth operation and rock solid lockup. All black PVD finish continues on handle and hardware paired with a single black G10 overlay for enhanced along with sections of strategic jimping.

8Cr13MoV: Similar to Japanese AUS-8, 8Cr13MoV is a low carbon, high chromium stainless steel with an excellent balance of toughness and strength. It offers good corrosion resistance and is capable of acquiring a razor sharp edge. Edge holding is significantly lower than S30V but close to 440B. Sharpening should be a breeze.
