The Blade: The 3 ¹⁄₄" blade is made from hollow ground 420J2 stainless steel. 420J2 takes a razor sharp edge, is tough, highly corrosion resistant and easy to sharpen, the perfect qualities for a steak knife you'll be using on a ceramic plate. The blade opens fluidly via the extended tang at the top of the blade much like a classic friction folder.

The Handle: POM is a precision engineering thermoplastic that is used in high-performance engineering components such as small gear wheels, eyeglass frames, ball bearings, guns and, of course, knife handles. Inlaid into the POM handle scale is a decorative crest and Torx fastener attach the scales to stainless steel liners, one of which also forms the locking mechanism. A semi-open back construction make cleaning and maintaining the knife a simple affair.
