Blade: The cleaver style blade has a high-saber grind for balanced slicing performance and durability and enough point for utility in daily use. The compact blade has a functional finger choil and spine jimping for optimal control and snappy flipper deployment thanks to the KVT ball bearing pivot. Stonewashed D2 tool steel provides enhanced edge retention and hides wear from use.

Handle: Solid steel liners support the high traction canvas Micarta scales in a lightweight yet solid handle construction. An open back construction offers easy cleaning and maintenance while the steel liner lock smooth in operation with solid lockup for safe use.

D2 Tool Steel: Used as a die cutting steel since WW II, D2 offers a good combination of hardness and wear resistance with moderate toughness and stain resistance. High chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) gives D2 better corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels.
