Details
The Gemini Flipper from Kizer Knives and maker Ray Laconico combines so many great features into one compact EDC package. The blade, the flipping action, the handle feel...it's tough to beat.
The Blade: Fully flat ground easy to get razor sharp VG-10 stainless steel has a gorgeous stonewashed finish. When closed, the Gemini appears to be a smaller knife but in all actuality the user can expect just over 3 inches of cutting edge. Plenty for every day cutting tasks and then some. It flips like a dream on its ball bearing pivot instilling confidence when called upon.
The Handle: Textured Black G-10 handle scales are secured to stainless steel liners, with one forming the lock and the other with weight reducing cutouts. The texturing of the G-10 is spot on. Not aggressive in any way, just right for every day use. It has completely open construction until you get to the tail end where a small blue G-10 backspacer is secured. There is a good-sized lanyard hole and single position tip-up carry pocket clip.
If you're looking for a new, reliable bang-for-your-buck flipper then the Gemini from Kizer is for you. So much goodness here. It comes with a Kizer microfiber cloth.
