The utilitarian Vanguard Series from Kizer offers performance, high quality construction and a budget friendly platform. Designer Chris Conaway of Sheepdog Knives of c01c fame is back again with the Deviant liner lock folder. Designed with a more streamlined design for ease of carry the Deviant has a solid stainless steel liner construction and utilitarian Sheepsfoot blade riding smooth on bearing making it a great choice for daily or dress carry.  This version has a two-tone M390 blade, polished liners and green Micarta scales with copper bolsters.

Blade: With satin flats and stonewashed grind the two-tone M390 blade has a handsome style and rides on a ball bearing pivot for smooth operation and fast deployment via the dual thumb studs. The Sheepsfoot profile is robust and functional for a variety of tasks with enough point for piercing and a high saber grind for balanced durability. Bohler M390 stainless steel delivers a low maintenance, high performance blade for daily use.

Handle: Polished stainless steel liners and barrel spacers form a lightweight and easy to clean open back foundation supporting the scales and bolsters. The neutral handle, comprised of hefty raw copper and rugged green canvas Micarta, has a deep index groove for safety and accommodates a variety of grips. The simple steel liner lock offers security in use and a generous oval hole is provided for lanyard attachment.

Carries via a right hand, tip-up, stainless steel deep carry clip with blind screw attachment.

Bohler M390: A popular choice for high-end user grade knives thanks to its exceptional edge retention, M390 has a good corrosion resistance for minimal maintenance. Another great feature of this steel is the ability to resist burr formation during sharpening. Comparable steels are CTS-204P and Duratech 20CV.
