Liong Mah Design Tempest Frame Lock Flipper

Details
Designed by maker Liong Mah and built with some of the tightest tolerances in the industry by David Deng of Reate Knives. The Tempest is a "big boy" knife coming in at 8.75 inches overall yet weighing in at just over 5.5 ounces. The action on it is outstanding.
A devastating 3.75 inch persian-styled blade rides on caged bearings and is crazy sharp. Premium S35VN has a two-tone satin/tumbled finish with an extensive thumb ramp for getting a grip on this beast. It features an integral flipper with light notching for flawless action every time.
Titanium handle scales are 3D sculpted and finished by Liong here in the US. They have a very nice matte grey appearance to them with light tumbling for that worn-in look. A frame lock bar on the reverse side has a hardened steel insert for smooth, effortless locking and unlocking.
Construction on the Tempest is built for battle. All titanium hardware has been bronze anodized adding a very nice accent to the handle. A machined titanium back spacer holds it all together. The tip-up carry pocket clip is very cool as it mimics the upswept shape of the blade and stays clear of the lock bar.
The Tempest exudes intimidation with fit and finish off the charts. It comes in a zipper pouch and is in brand new condition direct from maker/designer Liong Mah.
