LionSteel M1 Orange G10 M390 Steel

The Blade: The LionSteel M1 has a full flat grind with a subtle clip point blade and a crowned spine made from M390 steel. M390 is highly regarded for its edge retention and corrosion resistance making this knife an excellent option for daily carry. The M1 comes with a classic satin finish and a razor sharp edge out of the box.

The Handle: The M1 has well contoured, 3D machined Orange G10 handle scales attached via torx screws for easy cleaning and maintenance. The small overall package still provides plenty of real estate for a secure grip. Attached to the handle is a small paracord lanyard with a 3D machined titanium bead. The textured bead gives a little extra leverage when drawing the knife from the sheath.

The Sheath: The Italian made sheath is made from high quality leather with well spaced stitching and a belt loop for carry.

About M390: Bohler M390 has become an extremely popular choice for high-end user grade knives thanks to its extreme edge retention. M390 also has a good corrosion resistance, meaning most users can avoid problems by simply wiping off their blade after each use. Another great feature of this steel is its ability to resist burr formation during sharpening. Comparable steels are CTS-204P and Duratech 20CV.
