Description:
The T5 from LionSteel is a more compact version of the massive M7 fixed-blade field knife. Also made from Niolox Steel, this knife has an extremely ergonomic handle with 3D-machined monolithic scales and a high-height saber grind for exceptional strength and cutting performance. Niolox performs like an upgraded D2 with high corrosion resistance and wear resistance for extended edge holding. This model comes with super-tough, monolithic black canvas Micarta handles and a heavy-duty, MOLLE-compatible Italian leather sheath.
Niolox: Lohmann Niolox is a stain resistant tool steel with good edge holding and decent toughness. Even without being a particle metallurgy steel Niolox is a very fine-grained steel, which is a positive and aids with edge stability. Performance will be comparable to AISI D2 in terms of wear resistance with better edge stability.
