Fresh from the Marfione Custom Knife shop comes an Ultratech dual action out the front automatic knife with signature Mirror Polish Finished Elmax Single Edge blade. This custom creation has a brushed and anodized, hefted alloy handle, proprietary blue ringed hardware and lightening-fast, out-the-front operation.
Brand new directly from Microtech Knives, USA.
Blade: Equipped with a brilliant two-tone finish, this drop point has a plain standard cutting edge with Mirror Polished grinds and satin flats. This one is built from premium Bohler Elmax steel for optimal performance. Its 3.34 inch blade length features a double action opening and retracting mechanism. Simply move the thumb slide on the side of the handle up to deploy and down to retract. An internal spring remains at rest in both the open and closed position to reduce wear. The action is smooth and fast.
Handle: Brushed satin and black anodized, hefted aircraft alloy creates a comfortable feel in-hand and a smooth transition in and out of your pocket. There are several areas of machine-grooved texturing around the outsides aiding in grip. This lighter more ergonomic grip is easy on the hands and eyes. The handle's construction is completed with Microtech's proprietary Blue Ringed hardware, glass breaker end and satin finished pocket clip with the Dagger Logo on both the front and the clip. The clip features the date of production, serial number, and makers' names.
This Custom Ultratech ships in a display box with microfiber cloth and baggie, zipper pouch and signed Certificate of Authenticity.
Bohler Elmax: Elmax has become an extremely popular choice for high-end user grade knives thanks to its extreme edge retention. Elmax also has a good corrosion resistance, meaning most users can avoid corrosion (rust) by simply wiping off their blade after each use. Another great feature of this steel is its ability to resist burr formation during sharpening. Elmax has very similar performance to M390 and is used interchangeably by Microtech.
