The Minagi folder from MCusta quality Knives is an expert example of Seki Japan craftsmanship. It has elegant, yet intimidating lines with comfort and flow throughout. This version features bamboo-style textured Black and White Micarta handle scales partnered with a shaving sharp VG-10 stainless steel blade.
Blade: Done in a modified drop point style offering its user ample slicing ability plus piercing power backing it up. The clean machine satin finish promotes the ultra-modern look of the upper swedged grind and dual thumb stud openers. It opens on the left or right-hand side smoothly and consistently. This one comes to the open position up against a large stop pin inside the handle and locks up solid via a liner locking mechanism. Sharp, sleek and clean.
Handle: Full length skeletonized stainless steel liners are a strong backbone for the bamboo-gripped Micarta scales attached to them. These Micarta scales look great and feel even better. The sectioned texture is contoured adding to the overall grip in hand while also revealing the character of the Micarta. The grain lines of the fabric really shine through. The Minagi has half-length back spacer construction set off by red fiber liners plus a small lanyard hole near the bottom.
This one has an attached deep-carry, tip up position pocket clip.
