The Minagi has a Tsuchime hammer finished SPG-2 San Mai clad blade and bamboo motif green Pakkawood handle scales.

Blade: The modified drop point blade offers solid piercing and slicing performance with a nearly full height flat grind and stylish crowned spine. The San Mai construction enhances toughness and corrosion resistance while delivering a unique Hamon-style line for a classic look. The blade opens fast and smooth on Teflon washers via textured dual thumb studs.

Handle: Full length skeletonized stainless steel liners create a strong foundation for bamboo motif Pakkawood scales delivering performance, style and a superb grip without aggressive texturing. Strategic jimping on the liners provides additional traction. A half-length back spacer set off by red fiber liners offers optimal balance in the hand. Stainless hardware and a lanyard hole round out the construction.

Carries via a reversible, tip-down, stainless steel deep carry clip.

San Mai SPG-2: Super Gold 2 (A.K.A. SG2, SPG-2) is a Japanese powder metallurgy stainless steel with a fine microstructure and good toughness. It is a high hardness steel with better toughness and corrosion resistance than S30V and edge retnetion similar to S35VN. SG2 is easier to sharpen than S30V or Elmax.
