Blade: Crafted from stainless VG-10 the large, drop point blade has a satin finished, nearly full flat grind that is beautiful and functional. It opens smoothly via dual blue anodized thumb-studs for ambidextrous operation. Operation is silky smooth thanks to the Teflon bushing pivot system.

Handle: Stainless steel liners support handsome, full Damascus handle scales contoured to look and feel like Bamboo. The scales are fit perfectly to a beautifully polished stainless steel bolster highlighted with red liners giving the knife a high-class look and feel. The liner lock mechanism delivers reliable lockup and smooth operation. Jimping at the spine and pommel add traction in the hand.

VG10 Stainless Steel: VG10 is a high-end Japanese stainless steel that takes a very good edge and holds it well. Very popular in kitchen cutlery it is typically heat treated to around 60-61 HRC. With good edge holding and stain resistance VG10 takes a high polished, acute edge for optimal slicing performance.
