Medford Air Jack Tumbled S35VN Black G10 Slip Joint Folder

A lightweight version of the popular Gentleman Jack, the Air Jack is Medford's take on a modern traditional slip joint. For ease of carry, the Air Jack swaps titanium for G10 on the handle scales while retaining the same utility and performance of the original. The clean, drop point blade sports dual fullers for easy opening and a high hollow grind for solid slicing performance. This version has a tumbled CPM-S35VN blade and black G10 scales.

Blade: With over three inches of cutting edge this hollow ground S35VN drop point blade has plenty of cutting power for daily carry. Finished in a tumbled polish, this blade is both eye-catching and utilitarian. A moderate half stop makes opening smooth while adding extra safety in use on this non-locking blade. Dual fullers add style and traction for opening. 

Handle: Dual slabs of G10 house the blade and stainless back spring for a simple, lightweight and rugged handle. The slabs have high traction peel ply texture for a secure grip. A lanyard loop extends from the back of the spring, which is engraved “Made in United States of America” on the spine.

CPM S35VN: was designed to offer improved toughness over CPM S30V. It is also easier to machine and polish than CPM S30V, and the adjusted chemistry makes CPM S35VN about 15-20% tougher than CPM S30V without any loss of wear resistance. CPM S35VN’s improved toughness gives it better resistance to edge chipping.
