Medford Knives Nosferatu Black PVD S35VN Tumbled Titanium Button Lock Automatic

Inspired by the classic vampire movie from which it takes its name, the Medford Nosferatu is a beefy, coffin-handled titanium button lock automatic with a stake-like S35VN drop point blade with hollow ground false edge. This version comes with tumbled handles, faced and flamed hardware and clip and black PVD coated blade and back spacer.

Blade: Made from S35VN, the dagger-like drop point blade has a high hollow grind with matching false edge swedge that gives it a fine piercing point and solid slicing performance. Black PVD coating makes it discreetly non-reflective while the button operated automatic deployment is fluid and reliable.

Handle: Coffin shaped titanium slabs are milled with fluted grooves for traction and tumbled for a rugged, wear hiding finish. The nearly full length titanium back spacer is PVD coated to match the blade while the slide safety, hardware and clip are faced and flamed for a pop of color. The button lock is rock solid and reliable, backed by the slide safety in both open and closed positions. Includes a padded hard case for transport and storage.

CPM S35VN: was designed to offer improved toughness over CPM S30V. It is also easier to machine and polish than CPM S30V. The inclusion of Niobium allows for the formation of niobium carbides along with vanadium and chromium carbides. Substituting some niobium carbides for vanadium carbides makes CPM S35VN about 15-20% tougher than CPM S30V without any loss of wear resistance. CPM S35VN’s improved toughness gives it better resistance to edge chipping.
