The original Praetorian design size, the Praetorian Genesis is a perfect choice for the “This one is too big, this one is too small” knife user. The Praetorian Genesis is the middle ground between the standard and Micro versions that is large enough for nearly anything while still being relatively friendly for everyday carry. This version of the Genesis G has a tumbled S35VN drop point blade with matching titanium frame lock side and a green G10 front scale.

Blade: The utilitarian, drop point blade is made from ultra tough, 3/16 inch thick S35VN with a light tumbled finish that hides wear while looking great. Ground with a mid-height hollow grind, it delivers over 3 inches of razor sharp cutting edge and a fine point for piercing and detail work. Deploying smoothly on the phosphor bronze washer pivot, the blade opens ambidextrously via the large blade fuller milling. Aggressive jimping on the spine transitions into the handle and offers exceptional traction.

Handle: A G10 front scale, beefy slab of tumbled titanium and NP3 clear coated D2 back spacer make up the handle. The front scale is textured for traction while reducing the weight by over half an ounce! The tumbled frame is cut to form the simple, robust, integral titanium frame lock. Over 4 inches of grip area can accommodate even large gloved hands. Construction is completed with satin finished titanium hardware and a partial back spacer with exposed striker pommel. Both slabs and blade are marked with an individual serial number. Includes a padded hard case for transportation and storage.

Carries via a right hand, tip-up only 3D machined titanium pocket clip.

CPM-S35VN: A modified version of S30V designed for improved toughness over and easier machining and polish. Toughness is improved roughly 15-20% with a slight decrease in wear resistance (edge retention). Corrosion resistance is also lightly higher, close to AISI 420. S35VN is a well-balanced steel for daily use.
