The original design spec, the Genesis is a perfect "just right" Praetorian size. The Praetorian Genesis Ti is the middle ground between the standard and Micro versions with a beefed up blade and handle construction for folks who want to hard use their EDC folder. This Tanto version has a Vulcan finish S35VN blade, faced and flamed hardware and clip rose gold anodized, faced titanium handles.

Blade: The Tanto blade is made from durable, 3/16" thick CPM-S35VN ground with a mid-height hollow grind on the primary edge for powerful slicing and a flat ground tip for piercing performance and enhanced durability. The Vulcan finish is discreetly non-reflective in use while offering a unique visual appeal. The point pierces with ease and excels at detail work while the phosphor bronze washer pivot offers smooth, ambidextrous deployment via the large blade fuller milling. Aggressive jimping on the spine transitions into the handle and offers unparalleled traction in the hand.

Handle: Two beefy slabs of titanium and a black PVD coated D2 back spacer form the handle. Both scales are faced and rose gold anodized with the front scale sporting milled finger groove divots for enhanced traction. The back scale forms the simple, robust, integral frame lock mechanism for secure lockup and safe use. Construction is completed with faced and flamed titanium hardware and partial back spacer with exposed striker pommel. Both slabs and blade are marked with an individual serial number.

Carries via a right hand, brushed/flamed tip-up 3D machined titanium pocket clip. Includes an S3 hard case.

CPM S35VN: was designed to offer improved toughness over CPM S30V. It is also easier to machine and polish than CPM S30V. The inclusion of Niobium allows for the formation of niobium carbides along with vanadium and chromium carbides. Substituting some niobium carbides for vanadium carbides makes CPM S35VN about 15-20% tougher than CPM S30V without any loss of wear resistance. CPM S35VN’s improved toughness gives it better resistance to edge chipping.
