This version has a black PVD coated, CPM-3V Tanto blade and a tumbled bronze anodized handle.

Blade: At 3/16” thick, the ultra-tough CPM-3V Tanto blade is essentially unstoppable, while the mid-height hollow grind delvers solid performance. The flat ground tip adds strength and utility in flat surface and detail work. The non-reflective black PVD finish is discreet in use, and rugged phosphor bronze washers offer smooth ambidextrous operation via the large blade fullers. Aggressive jimping on the spine transitions into the handle for exceptional traction.

Handle: A PVD coated D2 pommel striker back spacer pairs with two beefy 1/8” slabs of titanium to form the handle. Finished in a tumbled bronze anodization, the handle slabs have a rugged look. PVD coated pivot and pocket clip and matching titanium hardware complete the build. Both slabs and blade comes marked with an individual serial number. Includes a padded hard case for transportation and storage.

Carries via a right-hand milled titanium clip.

CPM-3V: A high carbon alloy steel that is extremely tough and has enough chromium to have some corrosion resistance. Care and maintain is required. High toughness translates to a stable edge that can be ground thin for enhanced performance. 3V has good edge retention, approaching VG-10 and CPM-154, with more than 3x the toughness.
