Blade: The utilitarian, Tanto blade is made from tough, 3/16" thick CPM-S35VN that has been polished and tumbled  for a stunning yet rugged look and then ground with a mid-height hollow grind delivering a powerful slicing performance with a robust flat ground tip for piercing and detail work. With over 3.5 inches of razor sharp cutting edge, the Praetorian is more than capable of handling any task you are presented with. The blade deploys smoothly on the phosphor bronze washer pivot and opens ambidextrously via the large blade fuller milling with diamond texturing. Aggressive jimping on the spine transitions into the handle and offers unparalleled traction in the hand.

Handle: Two beefy, 1/8" slabs of matching polished and tumbled titanium pair with the NP3 clear coated D2 back spacer to form the handle. The front scale is milled with finger groove divots for enhanced traction while the back scale forms the simple, robust, integral frame lock mechanism. The construction is completed with blue titanium hardware and partial back spacer with exposed striker pommel. Both slabs and blade are marked with an individual serial number. Includes an S3 Hard Case for transportation and storage.

Carries via a right hand, tip-up only 3D machined blue anodized titanium pocket clip.

CPM-S35VN: A modified version of S30V designed for improved toughness over and easier machining and polish. Toughness is improved roughly 15-20% with a slight decrease in wear resistance (edge retention). Corrosion resistance is also lightly higher, close to AISI 420. S35VN is a well-balanced steel for daily use.
