This version has a PVD coated CPM-3V drop point blade and two-tone violet anodized and PVD coated handles with faced front.

Blade: Made from ultra-tough, beefy CPM-3V, the drop point blade has a mid-height hollow grind for powerful slicing and a discreet black PVD finish. The fine tip offers solid performance in piercing and detail work. Phosphor bronze washers deliver smooth ambidextrous operation via the large blade fullers. Aggressive jimping on the spine transitions into the handle for exceptional traction.

Handle: Two beefy slabs of titanium and a PVD coated D2 back spacer form the handle with handsome two-tone finish: faced and violet anodized on the front and PVD coated back with violet pinstripe edge. Anodized pivot and pocket clip and PVD coated titanium hardware and pommel striker back spacer complete the construction. Both slabs and blade comes marked with an individual serial number. Includes a padded hard case for transportation and storage along with a handmade Midnight (black) Samurai Sack pouch.

Carries via a right-hand milled titanium clip.

CPM-3V: A high carbon alloy steel that is extremely tough and has enough chromium to have some corrosion resistance, it requires care and maintenance. High toughness translates to a stable edge that can be ground thin for enhanced performance. 3V has good edge retention, approaching VG-10 and CPM-154, with more than 3x the toughness.
