This version has a Vulcan finished CPM-3V Tanto blade and faced blue “Peaks and Valleys” milled handles.

Blade: Made from ultra-tough, beefy CPM-3V, the Tanto blade has a mid-height hollow grind for powerful slicing and Medford's non-reflective Vulcan finish for style. A flat ground tip lends added strength for piercing and cuts well on flat surfaces. Phosphor bronze washers deliver smooth ambidextrous operation via the large blade fullers. Aggressive jimping on the spine transitions into the handle for exceptional traction.

Handle: Two beefy slabs of titanium and a PVD coated D2 back spacer form the handle with striking faced blue “Peaks and Valleys” milling for visual appeal and traction. Matching titanium hardware and faced and flamed pocket clip along with the striker pommel back spacer round out the construction. Both slabs and blade comes marked with an individual serial number. Includes a padded hard case for transportation and storage along with a handmade Pasutero Pastels Samurai Sack pouch.

Carries via a right-hand milled titanium clip.

CPM-3V: A high carbon alloy steel that is extremely tough and has enough chromium to have some corrosion resistance, it requires care and maintenance. High toughness translates to a stable edge that can be ground thin for enhanced performance. 3V has good edge retention, approaching VG-10 and CPM-154, with more than 3x the toughness.
