The Microtech Stitch Tan Camo out-the-side automatic knife is a production version of the highly regarded collaboration between Tony Marfione and Borka Blades. This unique design is a formidable foe with its piercing M390 blade and heavy duty aircraft alloy handle. It is a large sized folder with a tactical purpose easy enough to carry with you every day.
It is brand new direct from Microtech Knives, USA.
The Blade: The Stitch's unique blade shape is, at its core, a spear point with some modern modifications of course. The partially serrated cutting edge heads straight up to a piercing point with the angle lending itself to many slicing and slashing tasks. Durable Bohler M390 stainless steel was used here and given a Tan Camo coated finish for added protection and discreet use. It opens out the side simply by pressing the bronze push button actuator on the front of the handle. Close the Stitch by pressing in the same button and folding the blade into the handle. It's quite snappy for a beefy blade.
The Handle: Two thick slabs of aircraft alloy are Tan Camo coated and given a triangle knurling grip. It's weight reducing and strong. The curve of the handle and forward notched choil come together for an extremely comfy grip. Forward and reverse. A ridged bronze backspacer, and black Torx screw hardware complete construction on this Stitch. It comes equipped with a hardware matching black pocket clip for carry.
Each Stitch Auto is individually numbered and dated on the front of the blade.
