The Combat Troodon out the front automatic knife by Microtech is a substantial tool, popular among military, law enforcement and first responders. It's large size lends itself to situations requiring a more robust cutting tool while remaining slender enough to keep on your person daily. Named after a bird-like dinosaur from the Campanian Age and ready to strike. This version comes with a Blue anodized handle and a partially serrated Stonewashed M390 Double Edged blade.

Blade: A wide spear point blade which has been double ground and sharpened to a razor edge on both sides sports a section of partial serrations near the handle for tearing through fibrous materials. The premium M390 blade steel was chosen for its high levels of edge retention and corrosion resistance and is finished with a rugged stonewashed finish over the standard machine satin on the grinds. It is engaged via a dual action automatic mechanism. Simply press the side thumb slide up to open and then back down to close. Simple, fast and smooth. 

Handle: Blue hard anodized 6061-T6 aluminum offers 5.25 inches of handle, excluding the breaker, substantial enough for even the largest or gloved hands. It has a smooth feel with machined grooves perfectly placed on both outer sides. It is built with Microtech's standard proprietary hardware, integrated glass breaker end and pocket clip. Each is individually numbered and dated around the Microtech 'Talon' logo on the front of the knife.

Bohler M390: Bohler M390 (analog to CPM-20CV and CTS-204P) is a premium powder metallurgy (PM) stainless steel with high level edge retention and corrosion resistance. A popular choice for high-end production and custom knives, M390 is relatively easy to sharpen, with toughness on par with 440C/154CM.
